Founded in 2014 as Rafiki Transportations under A ALLI PTY ltd, our journey began with a single leased vehicle and a bold vision: to provide safe, reliable, and personalized transport in Cape Town.
Initially, we offered door-to-door taxi services, competing with ride-hailing giants like Uber. However, we quickly recognized the need to pivot and focus on what we could do best - airport transfers and tailored travel services, catering to both visitors and locals.
By 2017, we had financed our first owned vehicle, marking a significant milestone in our growth. We expanded our fleet and diversified into various transport sectors, with staff transport becoming a breakthrough area that provided consistent income and helped us build expertise across different passenger needs.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, many transport services were forced to shut down. But Rafiki Transportations persevered, adapting to the new landscape with enhanced safety protocols and flexible service offerings, emerging stronger than ever.
